The 2008 Edition of the Ford F-750 model was aimed to strengthen the company’s position on the medium-duty commercial vehicle sector. This Class 7 truck was fitted with either a Caterpillar C7 engine developing 300 hp or a Cummins ISB unit producing 325 hp. The new model was available with a wide range of transmissions – manual or automatic – and offering a maximum GVWR rating of 16.5 tons. The new truck featured 3 types of cab – regular, super cab and a later-developed crew cab – and was assembled at the Escobedo Plant in Monterrey, Mexico.
