But the E-250 has a long way to go in terms of rollover safety, with the 2009 model managing a dismal “poor” according to NHTSA rollover tests. This apart, other standard features include variable intermittent wipers, air conditioning and underbody full size spare among others.

You can’t expect a delicate darling in terms of exteriors, because this is an authentic cargo van with rugged masculine looks that leave you breathless. The regular version is huge, but there is an extended length option as well. And they offer a recreational trim in additional to the commercial version. For making modifications without hassle, the recreational trim is an excellent candidate.

Go for the 2009 Ford E-250 cargo van if you want a rugged machine with vast interiors and excellent cargo room for your needs. But look for enhancements where possible. At about $26,095, pricing is hardly a bother.
